"Sebelah" (or as part of the prepositional phrase 'di sebelah') in Indonesian means beside or next to someone. The name sebelahmatthew holds the spirit of companionship—a small, sincere space where we sit not to instruct, but to accompany. To be beside someone is to listen with presence, to exchange thoughts with kindness, to witness each other’s becoming, and to share our doubts, hopes, and faith. As we walk this journey, I believe Christ too walks beside us—silently guiding, patiently waiting, endlessly loving.
